Nexeo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Technical Lead for a strategic Data & Analytics program in Belgium. You will guide data engineers, ensure architectural alignment and drive enterprise data solutions in the Azure ecosystem.

Lead the development of pipelines, coach junior engineers, and collaborate with Data Platform Architects to evolve the data platform while promoting engineering best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as Senior Data Engineer, Technical Lead or Data Platform Engineer.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Ability to guide technical decisions and support multiple teams.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and optimize data pipelines within the Azure ecosystem.
• Act as the technical authority for Data Engineers and ensure engineering standards.
• Coach and mentor junior and mid-level Data Engineers.
• Translate architectural guidelines into actionable technical implementations.
• Collaborate with Data Platform Architects to align architecture and delivery.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable and high-performance data solutions.
• Contribute to the maturity and continuous improvement of Data Engineering practices.
