Nexeo is seeking a Data Architect for a leading financial institution in Belgium. You will work with IT architects and data engineers to translate conceptual architecture into technical design and data governance.

You will contribute to tender drafts, define data sources, metadata collection, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical specifications in a multicultural, international environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Fluent in French and English.
• 5+ years of experience in development of a D&A platform (data architectures, data governance).
• Experience coordinating business and technical teams in multicultural environments.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsabilités

Nexeo is currently looking for a Data Architect for one of the leading financial institution in Belgium.

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible of the following tasks:

• Work in collaboration with IT architects and data engineers
• Help to translate the prepared conceptual architecture into technical architecture (modeling of data management, storage and analysis systems, definition of data sources, collection of metadata, etc.)
• Assist in the drafting of the Invitation to Tender
• Understanding and be able to translate the needs around the data into technical specifications

Profile

• Master's degree in computer science, information technology or another relevant field of study
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience
• Excellent level of French AND English
• At least 5 years of proven experience in the development of a D&A platform (e.g. conceptual/technical architectures, tools, data governance) as well as experience in coordinating business and technical teams in a multicultural environment
• Attention to detail and a good communication
