Rhox is seeking an Application Architect / Technical Lead to shape and deliver Java and Angular 21 applications for a Belgian public sector project. You will own technical coherence, translate requirements into architecture and designs, and mentor developers within a SCRUM framework.

The role involves working across Java 8/JEE 7 and Java 21 environments, Spring Boot, JPA and DB2/MySQL, with Docker-based CI/CD and OpenAPI documentation. French proficiency is essential for mission activities.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in application architecture and technical leadership for Java-based, service-oriented systems.
• Web interfaces with Angular 21 and Angular Material, including offline-capable patterns.
• Backend components with Java, Spring, Spring Boot and JPA across Java 8/JEE 7 and Java 21.
• Data modeling and access in DB2 and MySQL, versioned schema changes with Flyway.
• REST services documented with OpenAPI.
• Automate build and delivery with Docker, Maven, GitLab CI/CD and Nexus.
• JUnit/Mockito for unit testing; code reviews and clean code practices.
• SCRUM experience; explain decisions to non-specialists and coach developers.

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain architecture documents and decisions for module coherence across products.
• Translate dossiers into designs using REST/OpenAPI, Spring Boot/JPA, and data access patterns.
• Lead development of Java and Angular modules, applying clean code and SOLID/DRY principles.
• Improve performance and memory usage via profiling, refactoring and debt reduction.
• Validate tests and Docker-based CI/CD deployments across environments.
• Coordinate code reviews, mentor developers, and communicate risks and progress.
