Rhox in Belgium seeks a Senior Fullstack Java Developer to modernise unemployment-regulation applications running on IBM WebSphere, with cloud or hybrid services. You will use Java, Spring Boot, and Angular or ReactJS to deliver maintainable integrations and features.

You will turn technical specs into working solutions, assess options for maintainability, performance, and scalability, and ensure security/compliance in a regulated public-sector context.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience developing and analysing complex IT applications with strong Java expertise.
• Expert knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot for microservices and API-driven apps.
• Full-stack delivery with Angular or ReactJS and solid JavaScript/NPM skills.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Swagger/OpenAPI, Docker, OpenShift, and IBM WebSphere.
• SQL/MySQL data models with Flyway, JUnit, Maven, Git, Lombok, IntelliJ; SonarQube usage.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Java/Spring Boot services plus Angular or ReactJS features for unemployment-regulation processes.
• Analyse technical specifications and select balanced implementation approaches for maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Modernise legacy IBM WebSphere/JSF and integrate with REST APIs, SOAP, and cloud/hybrid components.
• Design and document interfaces with Swagger/OpenAPI; apply Hexagonal Architecture to separate domain logic from infrastructure.
• Ensure quality with JUnit, SonarQube, Flyway migrations, Git workflows; containerise with Docker/OpenShift.
• Investigate complex issues across interconnected systems and clearly communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
