Rhox in Brussels is modernising the unemployment regulation application landscape, focusing on connecting business requirements with Java, Spring, and secure data integration across legacy, cloud, and hybrid components.

As a technical functional analyst, you will guide development teams, design data models, integrate secure APIs, and ensure architecture aligns with NIS2 and auditability needs.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business needs into functional and technical designs.
• Data modelling, data management, integration, and data security expertise.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially MySQL.
• Hands-on with modern Java, Spring, microservices, API-driven and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with Atlassian/Jira for documentation and delivery tracking.

Responsabilités

• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical designs for unemployment regulation applications.
• Design and assess data models, integrations, and secure APIs using MySQL and API-driven/event-driven patterns.
• Guide Java and Spring teams through design reviews and architectural decisions.
• Improve maintainability, security, performance, and scalability by reducing coupling.
• Embed security by design and translate NIS2 requirements into secure coding and monitoring.
• Align business, development, security, and infra stakeholders using Jira and clear docs.
