Job summary

EY Belgium is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our AI and Data team. You will deliver end-to-end AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on MLOps, Azure deployment, and collaboration across risk, business optimization, and customer intelligence functions.

You will coach junior colleagues, share knowledge, and stay current with AI advances. A background in finance-related AI applications and strong communication skills are essential for success in a dynamic, global professional services firm.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD level in Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences or Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of solid experience in Applied AI, including Generative AI.
• Strong programming experience in Python is essential.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and a business proficiency in English.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including deployment of resources, building, management, and optimization of AI solutions on the Azure platform.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated builds and deployments.
• Very good presentation and communication skills.
• Experience applying AI to business real world problems.
• You love to take full ownership of your projects and help clients.
• You are willing to support business development and pre-sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in end-to-end delivery of innovative AI solutions from ideation to production.
• Focus on MLOps to deliver robust and production-ready solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with AI capabilities and design innovative AI solutions.
• Support transformation towards an AI-centric culture across departments.
• Build and share knowledge, coaching junior profiles.
• Present at meetings and conferences and publish insights if desired.
• Attend AI conferences to share, network and learn.
