Axis Group - HR Advisor is seeking a Senior Insurance Account Manager to manage and expand a valued SME client portfolio in West Flanders. You will act as the primary contact, build strong relationships, and identify new business opportunities while meeting commercial goals in a matrix environment.

Fluency in Dutch is required, with French as a plus. The role offers a dynamic, international setting and a competitive compensation package with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, law, or insurance-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Commercial experience in the insurance industry.
• Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Can work independently and in a team.

• Proficient in MS Office 365.

In this role, you’ll manage a valuable client portfolio in the SME sector of West Flanders and build strong client relationships. Drawing on your sales experience and keen insight, you’ll actively seek out new business opportunities. Responsibilities

• You manage a client portfolio that you further develop and expand;
• You serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships with them;
• You organize and coordinate regular client visits and provide advice on the most suitable insurance products, tailored to their specific needs;
• You will actively seek out new business opportunities and work to identify and introduce these opportunities;
• You will be responsible for achieving commercial goals, in collaboration with team leaders and business development managers within a matrix structure.

Qualifications

• Holds at least a bachelor’s degree in an economics, law, or insurance-related field, or has gained equivalent experience;
• Has some commercial experience in the insurance industry;
• Is fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus;
• Can work both independently and effectively as part of a team;
• Has keen commercial insight, strong communication skills, and a results-oriented mindset;
• Is proficient in using MS Office 365.
