Vanguard Logistics Services in Antwerpen, Belgium seeks a seasoned Sea Freight Import Team Lead to drive operational excellence and customer service excellence across import activities. You will guide team development, ensure timely execution, and maintain SOPs, KPIs, and KRAs while coordinating with sales, pricing, warehouse, and global offices.

You will mentor staff, optimize processes, and act as the primary escalation point for service-related issues, contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of Import operation LCL experience.
Strong English communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

Lead and develop the Sea Freight Import team to high performance.
Oversee daily import operations with accuracy and timeliness.
Allocate workloads and achieve SOPs, KPIs, and KRAs.
Provide training and guidance to strengthen capabilities.
Act as escalation point for issues and implement corrective actions.
Manage staffing, leave planning, and resource allocation.
Ensure accurate processing and closing of files with correct outcomes.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Pricing, Warehouse, Transport, vendors, and overseas offices.
