ACENSI Belgium is seeking a Scrum Master to lead an Agile-driven banking project. You will coach the team in Scrum, facilitate ceremonies, and partner with the Product Owner to manage backlogs across cross-functional teams.

You will champion continuous improvement, remove impediments, and report on progress and quality metrics, while protecting the team from distractions and fostering self-organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master / within Agile environments.
• Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies and techniques, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with Agile reporting and follow-up tools such as Jira.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
• Good knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Understanding of tooling related to Automated Unit Testing.
• Understanding of tooling related to Automated Functional Testing.
• Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams, including analysis, development and testing disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Retrospective.
• Schedule and follow the key steps of the Agile methodology.
• Ensure the proper application of Scrum and help the team overcome obstacles.
• Support the Product Owner with the management of the Product Backlog.
• Support the team with the Sprint Backlog and Definition of Done (DoD).
• Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress monitoring.
• Identify and manage risks and issues.
• Coach and challenge the Project Team.
• Encourage team autonomy and self-organization.
• Identify and remove impediments affecting team effectiveness.
• Protect the team from external distractions.
• Act as an ambassador for Agile methodologies within the organization.
• Coach stakeholders on effective interactions with the Agile team.
• Report to management on the proper deployment and application of Scrum.
• Promote continuous improvement and the sharing of best practices.

ACENSI Belgium is looking for a Scrum Master for one of its client in the banking sector.

Mission Context

The Scrum Master is the key reference for the team regarding the application of the Agile/Scrum framework. The role ensures that the methodology is properly understood and applied, enabling the team to maximize its performance and delivery.

The Scrum Master coaches the Project Team, business stakeholders and other involved parties, while protecting the team from internal and external distractions and progressively encouraging self-organization.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Delivery Follow-up

Required Experience & Skills

Mandatory

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master / within Agile environments.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
• Good knowledge of project management methodologies.

Languages

• Good command of English.
• Good command of at least one local language: French or Dutch.
