Responsibilities

• You manage complex claims files with significant financial implications, drawing on your knowledge of various insurance areas and legislation.
• You analyze the files entrusted to you with regard to coverage and liability.
• You calculate the potential costs and reserves of the claim and take the initiative to keep these as accurate as possible throughout the entire duration of the case.
• You communicate smoothly with all parties involved, including medical advisors, lawyers, inspectors, customers, victims, and brokers.
• You actively invest in your own development in the field of insurance aspects and legal knowledge.
• You provide technical advice and training to colleagues from various departments and act as a backup legal contact person.

Qualifications

• You have a master's degree in law.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of occupational accidents, including knowledge of liability legislation.
• You have an excellent command of both Dutch and French.
• You are a true team player and contribute to good cooperation.
• You are dynamic, flexible, and solution-oriented; you have critical and analytical thinking skills, are assertive, can handle stress, and have strong communication skills.
• You are open to change and new trends, and you adapt to the evolving expectations of policyholders and intermediaries.
