Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to support a BRIM implementation in an S/4HANA environment. The role is fully remote, freelance/contract, start ASAP, with an initial contract until year-end and potential extension.

You will develop ABAP solutions, integrate with SAP BTP/CPI, work with SOM, CI, FI-CA, and help generate master data and subscription orders while ensuring robust debugging and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP BRIM and modules SOM, CI and FI-CA.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP/CPI integrations, SOAP and OData services.
• Experience with master data generation, business partners and subscription orders.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent professional English.

Senior SAP ABAP Consultant – S/4HANA (Remote)

Contract: Freelance / Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to support a major SAP BRIM implementation and ongoing development programme. The consultant will contribute to technical development, integrations, troubleshooting and the delivery of new functionality within an S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ABAP solutions within SAP S/4HANA.

• Support SAP BRIM-related modules, particularly SOM, Convergent Invoicing (CI) and FI-CA.

• Develop and maintain integrations with SAP BTP, CPI and external services.

• Work with SOAP and OData services, interfaces and internal event processing.

• Support master data generation, business partner creation and subscription order processes.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, improve code quality and support implementation milestones.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in S/4HANA.

• Experience with SAP BRIM and modules such as SOM, CI and FI-CA.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP/CPI integrations, SOAP and OData services.

• Experience with master data generation, business partners and subscription orders.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Fluent professional English.

Desirable: Experience with SAP forms and Dutch language skills.
