Job summary

J-Tec Material Handling, part of the Katoen Natie group, designs turnkey process installations for the chemical and food industries worldwide. The Sales Engineer role focuses on creating customized process solutions and presenting them to industrial clients, leveraging technical and commercial insight to win projects.

You join a fast-growing, international team of 350+ employees with offices in multiple countries, and you will engage in a dynamic mix of design, calculation and proposal activity.

Qualifications

• You hold a higher technical degree and have a passion for learning.
• You preferably have a first relevant work experience in sales/engineering.
• You are eager to learn, with broad technical knowledge and strong analytical skills.
• You have strong communication skills and fluent Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, calculate and dimension process solutions for industrial clients.
• Prepare commercial proposals with cost calculations, quotations and terms.
• Ensure offers are technically sound, commercially accurate and aligned with customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with Account Managers within a specialized sales team.
