Toyota Motor Europe in Zaventem is offering an internship focusing on virtual development related to road noise. As an intern, you will analyze tire and suspension dynamics to improve vehicle cabin comfort.

The role requires a master's student in mechanical or automotive engineering, with a background in structural dynamics and knowledge of noise testing. The internship lasts 6 months starting in May 2026, providing flexible hours, a company restaurant, and sport facilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master's in mechanical or automotive engineering with interest in cars and sound/acoustics.
• Strong background in structural dynamics, knowledge of testing, and simulation is a plus.
• Affinities with mathematical modelling and scripting.

Responsabilités

• Optimize procedures for component/subassembly mode assessment.
• Validate findings and support development through CAE software.
• Confirm findings with physical component updates.

Connaissances

Interest in cars and sound/acoustics

Background in structural dynamics

Knowledge of Noise & vibration testing

Simulation (Nastran)

Mathematical and physical modelling

Scientific scripting in Matlab or Python

Good English capability
