Toyota Motor Europe is offering an internship in the NV & Driveability team in Zaventem. This role focuses on virtual development of road noise, aiming to analyze and optimize vibration modes of tires, rims, and suspensions.

As an intern, you'll work on various tasks including the optimization of assessment methods and validating findings through CAE tools to contribute towards enhancing driving comfort. Applicants must be students and possess a strong background in mechanical or automotive engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master’s in mechanical or automotive engineering.
• Strong interest in cars and sound/acoustics.
• Background in structural dynamics, including modal analysis.
• Knowledge of noise & vibration testing and simulation is a plus.
• Affinity with mathematical and physical modelling.

Responsabilités

• Analyze tire, rim, and suspension vibration modes.
• Optimize assessment methods for components.
• Validate simulations with CAE tools.
• Support physical testing to reduce vehicle cabin noise.
