BYD EUROPE is seeking a Rentals & Remarketing Manager Belux in Brussels. You will lead the Pre‑Owned label across Belgium and Luxembourg, source profitable vehicles, and run the rental business from contract to compound handling.

You will manage the full lifecycle, negotiate with rental partners, and drive residual value through remarketing strategies while reporting to the Head of Fleet Sales.

Qualifications

• Medior to senior professional with proven experience in automotive remarketing and residual value management.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with excellent operational and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Rental business management: identify opportunities, negotiate volumes and terms, ensure profitability.
• Remarketing strategy: develop and implement ex‑rental and ex‑fleet strategies to maximize residual values.
• Vehicle lifecycle management: balance inflow and outflow to minimize overstock and price pressure.
• Performance follow-up: monitor KPIs for fast, profitable handling and dealer network activation.
• Pre‑Owned label management: implement the overall Pre‑Owned strategy.
• On‑site presence: be the main contact for dealers on used car business.

As Rental & Remarketing Manager Belux, you are a core member of the Fleet Sales team and report to the Head of Fleet Sales. You develop our Pre‑Owned car label within the BYD dealer network across Belgium and Luxembourg, secure profitable vehicle sourcing, and manage the rental business from contract to compound handling.

Key responsibilities

• Rental business management: Identify opportunities and negotiate volumes, pricing, incentives, contract terms and fleet mix with the short‑term rental market, ensuring profitability and used car sourcing for the dealer network.
• Remarketing strategy: Develop and implement the remarketing strategy for ex‑rental and ex‑fleet vehicles, maximizing residual values and remarketing revenues.
• Vehicle lifecycle management: Manage the full vehicle lifecycle, balancing inflow and outflow to minimize overstock and price pressure, and identify residual value risks by model, powertrain and specification.
• Performance follow‑up: Monitor remarketing KPIs to ensure swift and profitable handling, and steer used car KPIs to activate the dealer network.
• Pre‑Owned label management: Develop and implement the overall Pre‑Owned strategy in line with the brand's commercial and customer objectives.
• On‑site presence: Act as the main point of contact for dealers on used car business.

Key objectives

• Rental performance: Manage all rental stakeholders excellently and execute rental deals profitably.
• Remarketing performance: Set, follow up and drive the achievement of resale and operational targets, contributing to overall residual value.
• Network used car performance: Consistently achieve used car sales and market share in line with the Pre‑Owned label strategy.
• Reporting quality: Deliver reliable, timely sales and used car market performance reports to the Head of Fleet Sales.

Your profile

• Experience: Medior to senior professional with proven experience in automotive remarketing and residual value management.
• Skills: Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, combined with excellent operational and analytical abilities to ensure a smooth operational flow.
• Languages: Fluent in French and Dutch, with professional English as the corporate language.
• Tools: Comfortable with CRM, used car sales and compound handling reporting tools.
• Mindset: Hands‑on, analytical and diplomatic, with strong leadership and relationship‑building skills.
• Mobility: Driving licence B and a genuine willingness to be on the road across Belgium and Luxembourg.
