Job summary

DynaFin Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst – Risk & Credits with hands-on experience in end-to-end lending processes for a leading Belgian bank. You will translate business needs into workable solutions and support the management of credit-related data and applications across the contracting and portfolio risk lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Process Engineers, Functional Analysts, developers and Data Managers to align requirements, scopes and delivery objectives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Experience in the banking industry.
• End-to-end knowledge of credit products and processes.
• Experience with requirements gathering, functional analysis and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of applications supporting lending products and credit processes.
• Technical affinity with COBOL applications, Java APIs and process-layer configuration.
• Ability to analyse APIs, integration flows and application behaviour.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery, refinement and sprint ceremonies.
• Strong analytical, structuring and modelling skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
• Available to work 50% on site and 50% remotely.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform impact, dependency and risk analyses for changes affecting credit processes and applications.
• Optimise business processes and lending solutions.
• Analyse API-related requirements, integration flows and application behaviour.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Process Engineers, Functional Analysts, developers and Data Managers.
• Align stakeholders on requirements, scope, timelines and delivery objectives.
• Challenge requirements by assessing business value, impacts and costs.
• Support feature refinement and slicing within an Agile environment.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance and Risk stakeholders.
• Define testing needs and contribute to feature test plans.
• Support functional testing, UAT, business acceptance testing and release validation.
• Help analyse and resolve functional incidents.
