BDO Belgium is seeking a Manager Lending to lead the transformation of lending operations for clients in the banking sector. You will analyze and optimize lending processes, drive AI integration and ESG alignment, translate business needs into software requirements, and mentor junior consultants while growing our Lending practice.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery and client engagement across B2B and B2C lending.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in banking, consulting, or related industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in lending (B2C and B2B).
• Experience with process optimization, RPA and AI.
• Understanding ESG impact on lending and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent process analysis, business analysis, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with very good proficiency in the other and fluency in English.
• Strong leadership, project management and client engagement skills.
• Proactive in identifying new clients and projects and supporting sales.

Responsabilités

• Analyzing and improving existing lending processes: Identify areas for enhancement and implement strategies.
• Optimizing applications and systems: Enhance lending systems for better performance.
• Uncovering potential for automations and AI: Identify opportunities to automate lending processes.
• Translating business needs to software requirements: Translate business needs into actionable plans.
• Integrating sustainability (ESG) principles: Advise on ESG integration in lending offerings and processes.
• Lead projects, mentor junior consultants, and grow the Lending practice within BDO.
