Tenos in Brussels is seeking a Freelance Finance Manager to temporarily lead the Finance department. You will report to the CEO and act as a sparring partner to the management team while steering day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities include closing cycles, management reports, budgets and forecasts, KPI tracking, cash flow monitoring, and improving financial processes. The role suits a hands-on professional who can work independently and adapt quickly in a changing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong financial background and relevant experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or in a similar role.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and skilled at structuring financial information and translating it into clear insights and concrete actions.
• Extensive experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Able to combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently, take ownership and adapt quickly in a changing environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day financial administration.
• Advise management and the executive team based on financial analyses and insights.
• Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Prepare management reports and financial dashboards.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Analyse and monitor financial performance (results and margins) and KPIs translating findings into concrete insights and actions.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity.
• Optimise financial processes and internal controls.
• Support strategic projects and investment decisions.
