Michael Page is seeking a solid Financial Controller for an industrial company in Belgium. You will support year-end closing, tax calculations, and audit requests across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

The role requires Dutch and English, strong knowledge of Belgian tax and local GAAP, IFRS familiarity, and experience in a multinational matrix organization. SAP experience is a plus; immediate start through March 2027, full-time.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of taxation (Belgian corporate income tax and VAT).
• Good knowledge of local GAAP reporting requirements.
• IFRS knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Experience working in a multinational matrix organization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP is considered a plus).
• Strong general IT and financial software skills.
• Can work in Dutch and English.

Responsabilidades

• Assistance with year-end closing and reporting. Knowledge of both local GAAP and IFRS is required.
• Assistance with the Corporate Income Tax (CIT) calculation, with support from the Tax Manager.
• Handling audit requests for all companies within the audit scope (Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg - 3 companies in total).
• Reviewing the statutory financial statements for all companies within scope.
• Quarterly Board of Directors reporting, including the preparation of local GAAP trial balances (7 entities).
