Tenos is seeking a Freelance Finance Manager for the Brussels region to temporarily lead the Finance department. You will report to the CEO and act as a financial sparring partner to the management team.

Your role includes leading daily financial administration, advising senior management, and overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. You will develop management reports, dashboards, budgets and forecasts, and monitor KPIs, margins, and cash flow.

Freelance Finance Manager – Region Brussels (Ref. 1710)

For a growing organisation, we are looking for a Freelance Finance Manager to temporarily lead the Finance department. In this role, you will report directly to the CEO and act as a financial sparring partner to the management team.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day financial administration.
• Advise management and the executive team based on financial analyses and insights.
• Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Prepare management reports and financial dashboards.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Analyse and monitor financial performance (results and margins) and KPIs translating findings into concrete insights and actions.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity.
• Optimise financial processes and internal controls.
• Support strategic projects and investment decisions.

Your profile:

• Strong financial background and relevant experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or in a similar role.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and skilled at structuring financial information and translating it into clear insights and concrete actions.
• Extensive experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Able to combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently, take ownership and adapt quickly in a changing environment.
