Job summary

GSCC is seeking a Strategic Communications Associate for Climate Litigation to produce and deliver high-impact communications and digital strategies. You will shape narratives, build media relationships, and coordinate across partners and time zones while working in a remote, international team.

Ideal candidates show strong writing, media relations, and project management skills, plus a demonstrated ability to translate complex climate topics into accessible content. English fluency is essential.

• Experience in media relations tactics, including pitching and briefing journalists.
• Experience working across digital platforms to achieve comms goals.
• Strong partnership and collaboration skills across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver global climate litigation comms outputs (press releases, briefings, social content).
• Craft audience-specific messaging for campaign goals across regions.
• Support media relations by briefing reporters and pitching story angles.
• Lead digital strategy and coordinate with colleagues for implementation.
• Collaborate with partner organisations and GSCC national teams globally.
• Monitor media activity and report on campaign impact.
