Job summary

The Meliore Foundation, hosting GSCC, seeks a Strategic Communications Associate for Climate Litigation. This remote role supports desks worldwide, producing media materials, messaging, and digital campaigns to advance climate litigation strategy.

Reporting to the Strategic Communications Lead, you will build partnerships across regions, monitor impact, and drive digital initiatives while working in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Experience in media relations tactics, including pitching, messaging coordination, briefing journalists, and spokespeople.
• Experience working across digital platforms and channels to achieve communications goals.
• Outstanding partnership skills, with the ability to support, influence and coordinate a range of partners.
• Experience briefing and supporting diverse spokespeople, including experts and campaign partners.
• Ability to craft clear, compelling written content for specific audiences and platforms.
• Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to work across multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the global climate litigation communications strategy by drafting and distributing a wide range of materials (press releases, backgrounders, social content, toolkits, event communications).
• Develop audience-specific messaging to support campaign goals across platforms and regions.
• Support media relations by briefing reporters and boosting understanding of climate litigation implications.
• Lead on digital strategy and ensure its integration into communications efforts.
• Collaborate with partner organisations and GSCC desks worldwide to coordinate joint communications.
