Job summary

The Western Union Company is seeking an AML Compliance Officer for Belgium working from home. You will support agents in implementing AML/CTF and anti-fraud policies, evaluate compliance across agent networks, and conduct activity analyses, reviews, and training.

You will follow up on gaps, remediate findings, escalate risks, and help develop AML programs while coordinating with global and regional teams. This role requires travel up to 50% and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

• Experience in AML/Compliance field is required.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
• Dutch language is preferable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand AML/CTF and anti-fraud policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform AML/CTF/Anti-Fraud reviews of Western Union Agents.
• Provide training to agents to implement compliant programs.
• Evaluate controls with agent partners and support remediation.
• Escalate compliance-related risk matters promptly.
• Assist in the development of AML programs and initiatives.
• Support project-related activities and tasks as needed.
• Implement policies with global and regional teams to ensure consistency.
• Submit daily reports to the government portal.
