Johnson & Johnson invites applications for a Senior Maintenance Engineer Projects at our Geel, Belgium site. You will support maintenance, asset lifecycle, and project decisions from concept to commissioning within the GET Maintenance & Reliability team.

You will influence project outcomes through strong technical expertise, stakeholder management, and integration of maintenance requirements across lifecycle stages. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and strong foundation in maintenance, engineering, or asset management.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Maintenance Engineering, Project Engineering, Asset Management, or Reliability Engineering.
• Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Experience supporting engineering or capital projects, including design reviews, commissioning, start-up, and handover.
• Knowledge of RCA, FMEA, RCM, and criticality assessments.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Act as the Maintenance & Reliability representative within multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring maintenance requirements and asset lifecycle considerations are integrated.
• Review engineering designs and project deliverables for maintainability, reliability, and total cost of ownership.
• Challenge project teams to align with site maintenance standards and GMP requirements.
• Support capital and improvement projects from concept through commissioning and handover, including maintenance plans and CMMS readiness.
• Define and implement maintenance strategies for new and modified assets and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Coordinate maintenance readiness for new installations before startup.
• Identify risks related to asset reliability and implement mitigations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and contractors for successful delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned.
