Job summary

The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company is seeking a Reefer Ocean Freight Operator in Antwerp. You will coordinate end-to-end FCL reefers and ocean freight, including bookings, documentation, customs, and shipment monitoring to deliver compliant, timely, and cost-effective transport.

Ideal candidates have experience in freight forwarding or logistics, strong organizational skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and temperature-controlled logistics.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; French/German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end FCL reefers and ocean freight shipments.
• Handle bookings, documentation, customs, and invoicing.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Build relationships with customers, carriers, and partners for service quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost controls, and process such as GDP compliance.
• Maintain accurate reporting and support budgeting and planning.
