SNCB is seeking a Business Area Manager - Real Time Operations to lead a portfolio of mission-critical applications for Belgian rail operations. You will direct a cross-functional team of ~60 people, drive strategic roadmaps, and balance stability with transformation initiatives.

You will manage an annual budget of about €10 million, ensure service levels, and engage senior stakeholders. Fluent English and Dutch or French are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant IT field.
• At least 8 years of IT experience.
• Proven experience leading team leads and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong project, portfolio and service management knowledge.
• Budget management experience including CAPEX/OPEX and long-term planning.
• Experience with real-time operations in mission-critical environments is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and support Business Area Leads and Team Leads.
• Define and steer the strategic roadmap of the domain.
• Manage a consolidated budget of approximately €10 million across CAPEX and OPEX.
• Guarantee availability, quality and performance of critical applications and services.
• Act as trusted partner for senior stakeholders and provide insights for decision-making.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks across the portfolio.
