Job summary

Ypto NV in Belgium is seeking an Application Owner to manage a portfolio of SNCB applications, ensuring performance, stability, coherence, lifecycle, and integration. You will act as a subject matter expert, advise IT and business stakeholders, and support functional analyses.

You will escalate incidents, document solutions, and own end-to-end application management across their lifecycle. The role requires onsite presence two days per week, and collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management.
• 3+ years in roles such as Application Owner, Functional Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar.
• Onsite availability two days per week.
• Experience managing production applications through run, enhance, release and decommission phases.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for incidents, problems, and service requests; support operational teams.
• Document implemented solutions and support releases (pre/post).
• Own end-to-end management and lifecycle of applications for continuity and integration.
• Create and manage portfolio backlog and roadmap; coordinate changes across sprints/releases.
• Advise Business Process Owners and IT Management; coordinate issue analyses and stakeholder communications.
• Manage interactions with suppliers, including supplier/contract management and RFP processes.
