Tractebel, part of the ENGIE Group, invites a Medior Radiological Characterisation Engineer to join the Radiation Protection, Radwaste and Decommissioning Competence Centre in Belgium. You will contribute to radiological characterisation of buildings, structures and equipment at Doel and support national and international clients.

The role offers flexible, hybrid work (2 days home), frequent collaboration with project teams, and the opportunity to develop expertise with tools such as

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in engineering or sciences (physics preferred).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the nuclear sector.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an asset.
• Willing to work on the Doel site up to 3 days per week.

Responsabilités

• Deliver radiological characterisation studies and projects for Doel site and Competence Centre.
• Interface between on-site activities and office work to ensure alignment.
• Develop characterisation programmes and follow-up of projects.
• Write technical specifications and procure measurement systems.
• Share knowledge with Clients and colleagues to align expectations.
