Qplox engineering is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and optimize advanced materials and processes in our R&D environment. The role focuses on wet chemical processing, electrochemical deposition and thin-film techniques to translate material requirements into scalable solutions.

You will work with researchers and engineers, troubleshoot processes, document results and communicate findings to project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in process engineering or materials development.
• Hands-on lab experience with wet chemical processing or electrochemical deposition.
• Experience with thin-film processing and materials development.
• Experience with sputtering, thermal evaporation, e-beam deposition, ALD or MLD.
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative reporting skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Execute and optimize wet chemical and electrochemical processes.
• Develop and improve chemical and electrochemical deposition for coatings.
• Support thin-film deposition using sputtering, evaporation, ALD/MLD.
• Analyze process performance and communicate risks and improvements.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to translate requirements.
• Contribute to process development and troubleshooting in R&D.
• Document results and present findings to teams.
