IMEC, based in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking an experienced Dry etch R&D Engineer for Advanced Patterning. You will lead etch process development on 300 mm pilot lines, study interactions with other process steps, and push the maturity of critical etch steps for technology transfer.

You should hold a PhD or a Master’s with relevant experience, possess hands-on experience in etch or plasma processing, and communicate effectively in a multicultural, international environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree with relevant experience in science or engineering.
• Hands-on experience in etch or plasma processing is preferred.
• Experience with advanced memory or 3D/OIO is a plus.

• Lead dry etch process development on multiple projects.
• Design, conduct, analyze and report etch experiments.

• Transfer etch process know-how to customers and partners.
