Schréder in Liège, Belgium is seeking an R&D Lighting Project Leader to drive photometrical building blocks and integration into luminaires. You will report to the Electronics & Lighting Manager and lead cross-functional teams from concept to project completion.

The role emphasizes optical system design, thermal management, and collaboration with mechanical engineers, designers, and technicians to deliver efficient, durable outdoor lighting solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Autonomous, rigorous, creative, and communicant; strong team spirit.
• Knowledge in optics/photometry and LED tech is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee mechanization and integration of optical parts into lighting fixtures.
• Develop and optimize outdoor optical systems for efficiency and aesthetics.
• Lead projects from concept to completion within timelines and budgets.
• Stay abreast of photometry/optics trends and implement innovative solutions.
