Schréder in Liège, Belgium is seeking an R&D Lighting Project Leader to drive photometrical building blocks and integration into luminaires. You will report to the Electronics & Lighting Manager and lead cross-functional teams from concept to project completion.

Currently, we are looking for aR&D Lighting Project Leader in Liège, Belgium who will be responsible of photometrical buildings blocks project and its integration inside a luminaire.
You will report to the Electronic & Lighting Manager of the R&D department.
What you will do :
Oversee the mechanization and integration of optic parts into lighting fixtures, considering factors such as thermal management, manufacturing characteristic.
Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of optical components with other system elements.
Develop and optimize optical systems for outdoor lighting, emphasizing efficiency, durability, and aesthetic considerations.
Utilize photometry techniques to analyse and improve light distribution, ensuring optimal visibility and energy efficiency.
Lead and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including optical engineers, mechanical engineers, designers, and technicians, to achieve project goals.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in photometry and optics.
Drive continuous improvement by researching and implementing innovative solutions to enhance outdoor lighting performance.
