Verhaert On-Site Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support a leading Belgian architectural lighting manufacturer. You will transform lighting concepts into manufacturable products and manage your own projects from design to implementation.

You will design and develop custom lighting fixtures for architectural applications, applying mechanical, electronic and thermal considerations and coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–4 years of experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Strong experience with Autodesk Inventor.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: injection moulding, machining, turning, milling.
• Experience managing technical projects independently.
• Strong understanding of materials, production methods and industrial product development.
• Fluent in Dutch.
• Ability to work onsite in Wevelgem.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop custom lighting fixtures based on customer requirements.
• Transform concepts into functional, manufacturable products with mechanical, electronic and thermal considerations.
• Create and maintain 3D designs and technical documentation using Autodesk Inventor.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage BOM and project timelines.
