Schréder SA in Liège, Belgium, seeks an R&D Lighting Project Leader to drive photometric building blocks and their integration into luminaires. You will report to the Electronic & Lighting Manager in the R&D department and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Autonomous, rigorous, creative, communicant with team spirit.
• Knowledge in optics/photometry & LED technology is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) for mechanical integration and design.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the mechanization and integration of optic parts into lighting fixtures, considering thermal management and manufacturing characteristics.
• Develop and optimize optical systems for outdoor lighting, emphasizing efficiency, durability, and aesthetics.
• Lead and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends in photometry and optics; drive continuous improvement with innovative solutions.
