HMS Networks is seeking an R&D Firmware Engineer to join the Gateway/Firmware team in Nivelles, Belgium. The role focuses on developing, integrating, validating and maintaining firmware components from drivers to embedded applications within a cross-functional team.

We offer a permanent contract, homeworking and a competitive salary with fringe benefits, including a company car. The position requires 5–10 years of experience, English and French proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (software environment).
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory).
• Solid experience with asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
• Full professional proficiency in English and French (mandatory).

Responsabilités

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies within the firmware team.
• Contribute to firmware development for our product range.
• Analyze technical and business requirements to translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Collaborate daily and coordinate with the Firmware team and bi-weekly with other firmware teams and programs.
• Support the team in adapting to new products and evolving technologies.
• Contribute positively within a dynamic environment.
