Job summary

ABB Electrification in Diegem, Belgium, is seeking a Senior leader to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across SAP, EDI, and Salesforce ecosystems. You will partner with Customer Operations, Product Marketing, Sales, IT, and Business Excellence to deliver measurable impacts.

You will manage multi-workstream initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, and push standardization and quality improvements across global operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in leading operational transformation initiatives.
• Strong configuration, optimization, or implementation experience in SAP (S/4HANA) environments.
• Experience with CRM optimization and data management in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Set up, implement, and manage EDI connectivity solutions with customers and partners.
• Lead SAP implementations and digitalization programs from planning to adoption.
• Drive continuous improvements within SAP and related systems for standardization and efficiency.
• Act as SFDC Champion, coordinating CRM optimization and user adoption.
• Initiate and execute Operational Excellence programs focusing on efficiency and culture.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will advance continuous improvement and operational excellence across ABB Electrification, transforming how we operate by combining process optimization, system expertise, and consistent quality focus. Each day, you will lead strategic initiatives that span EDI connectivity, SAP optimization, Salesforce excellence, and operational transformation - working across Customer Operations, Product Marketing, Sales, IT, and Business Excellence to deliver measurable impact.

This role is contributing to ABB Electrification in Diegem, Belgium.

Main stakeholders are Customer Operations, Product Marketing, Sales, IT, Business Excellence, and international teams.

Reporting Manager: Local Business Unit Manager ABB Electrification Belux.

Work model: hybrid.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Setting up, implementing, and managing EDI-connectivity solutions with customers and external partners to ensure seamless data exchange and integration across platforms.
• Leading business and IT transformation projects as Project Manager - including SAP implementations (S/4HANA migrations, Conga deployments, digitalization programs) - from planning through execution, change management, and user adoption.
• Identifying, developing, and implementing continuous improvements within SAP environments and related systems, with a focus on process standardization, efficiency, and quality.
• Acting as Salesforce (SFDC) Champion and key user, coordinating CRM optimization, user adoption, and delivery of customer and market intelligence through the platform.
• Initiating and executing Operational Excellence programs focused on efficiency, standardization, quality improvement, and organizational culture transformation.

Qualifications For The Role

• You have 10+ years of relevant experience in operations, process excellence, project management, business systems, or business analysis - with proven experience in leading operational transformation initiatives.
• You are highly skilled in SAP environments, with demonstrated experience in configuration, optimization, implementation, or business process design within SAP systems (S/4HANA, modules, reporting, or integration).
• You have established knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC), including CRM platform optimization, user adoption, reporting, and customer data management.
• You bring solid project management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver results on time and within scope.
• You bring knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methods, along with experience creating and carrying out process improvement programs that produce measurable results.
• You are innovative and change-driven, with well-developed stakeholder management skills, well-developed communication abilities (Dutch and English fluent), and the ability to inspire and lead teams through organizational transformation.
• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or a related field - or demonstrate equivalent professional experience and certifications.
