ABB is seeking a Field Service Engineer Electrification to maintain, troubleshoot, and commission low- and medium-voltage installations at industrial sites in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will work independently on customer sites, with strong safety discipline and collaboration with regional teams.

The role requires a degree in Electricity or Energy Technology, fluency in Dutch and French, English communication, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electricity, Electromechanics or Energy Technology or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel across Belgium and Luxembourg with a valid license.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of low-/medium-voltage installations.
• Work on heavy electrical systems (400V–36,000V; up to 600 A).
• Prepare intervention, testing and maintenance reports with proper documentation.
• Support customers with safe, reliable service following safety procedures.

Safety, precision and technical expertise are always central.You usually work independently on location in Belgium and Luxembourg, but you stay connected with colleagues and support teams whenever needed.You maintain what keeps the industrial world running.What your typical day looks likePerforming maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and commissioning low- and medium-voltage installations and power circuit breakersWorking on heavy electrical systems (e.g., systems between 400V and 36,000V and 600 amperes) and carrying out technical modifications to improve performanceTesting and inspecting switchgear to ensure safe operationPreparing intervention, testing and maintenance reports and documenting protocols correctlySupporting customers with reliable service, always following strict safety procedures for medium-voltage installationsWhy you’re a great fitYou bring strong technical foundations, an eye for detail, and the sense of responsibility needed to work confidently with high‑power electrical installations.
