IKEA Belgium is seeking a Purchaser on a permanent contract within Group Procurement. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver value across the business.

You will lead sourcing projects, negotiate for total cost optimization, monitor supplier markets, and ensure compliance with procurement standards across the organisation. Fluency in English and FR or NL is required, with a good understanding of IKEA's values.

We are looking for a Purchaser for Belgium on a permanent contract within Group Procurement. We offer an exciting opportunity to join the Procurement organisation at Ingka. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering business value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and close collaboration with stakeholders across the business.

• Experience in supplier management and supplier development.


• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and one of the local languages (FR or NL)


• Good knowledge of the IKEA business model, strategic landscape, and ways of working.


• Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices, processes, and methodologies.


• Good understanding of the indirect procurement industry and Belgium market conditions.


• Experience working with project management methods and processes.


• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.


• Good understanding of commercial and contractual matters.


• Knowledge of cost drivers and value creation opportunities.


• A genuine commitment to IKEA values and vision.


• Knowledge of the SAP Ariba Source-to-Pay process is considered an advantage.
