ING Belgium is seeking a Contract & Vendor Manager within Procurement Belgium to manage a portfolio of supplier contracts, collaborate with Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Finance, and ensure contracts are fit for purpose.

You will drive sourcing activities, vendor governance, and continuous improvement while working in a hybrid environment with up to 50% remote work. Fluent English required; French or Dutch is an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, contract management or vendor management.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations and risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
• Professional proficiency in English; French and/or Dutch is an asset.

Your role & work environment

Within Procurement Belgium, the Contract & Vendor Management team is responsible for managing supplier relationships and contracts throughout their lifecycle while ensuring value creation, risk management, and compliance with ING standards and regulatory requirements.

As a Contract & Vendor Manager, you will manage a portfolio of supplier contracts and act as a trusted partner for internal stakeholders. You will work closely with Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Finance teams to ensure contracts are fit for purpose, suppliers deliver according to expectations, and risks are effectively managed. You will contribute to sourcing activities, commercial negotiations, vendor governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

You will report to the Head of Contract & Vendor Management, who reports directly to the Chief Procurement Officer. You will be part of a collaborative team that combines commercial expertise, risk awareness and supplier management capabilities to support ING’s strategic objectives.

• Hybrid way of working with up to 50% remote work, based on team agreements. Currently, Mondays and Wednesdays are office days.
