Job summary

HumanInTech is seeking a business and functional analyst for a Belgian public-sector merger programme. You will map landscapes, design future-state options, and translate decisions into application specifications and configurations.

The role involves coordinating with HR, local management tools, public-facing sites, and other applications. You will prepare and maintain functional specifications, manage stakeholders, and contribute to data and reference-data work for nine new divisions.

Qualifications

• Confirmed experience in business and functional analysis.
• Proven experience in process mapping and BPMN modelling.
• Experience designing and executing application test plans.
• Experience documenting data models and interfaces (reference data, codifications).
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Junior-level experience in the public sector.
• Junior-level experience in data migration.
• Experience querying and checking data with SQL and Python.
• Active knowledge of Dutch, French and English.

Responsibilities

• Map current state and design future-state options for the merged entity.
• Coordinate work with teams responsible for each application.
• Write and maintain functional specification documents for migrations.
• Translate decisions into parameterisation, data and interfaces.
• Guide working groups on capabilities and standards.
• Plan and track application testing campaigns at scale.
• Prepare decision documents for stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and produce minutes.
