Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk, Belgium, seeks a Process Engineer - New Manufacturing Technologies who will drive end-to-end process development for prototyping and manufacturing. You will work with conventional machining and additive manufacturing, scouting new technologies and benchmarking machines to deliver high-quality, short lead times.

You will support machine operators, lead CAD/CAM integration and data acquisition, and push continuous improvements in a hybrid on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Profound knowledge of manufacturing processes (conventional machining and/or Additive Manufacturing) and quality management principles.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software suites and data acquisition systems.
• Fluent communication skills in Dutch and English (spoken and written); knowledge of German is considered a plus.
• Hands-on, creative, and critical thinker who is always looking for a better way to optimize processes.
• Independent worker and reliable team player with strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a cost-conscious, innovative mindset.

Responsabilités

• Own the end-to-end process lifecycle from scouting new technologies to installation and commissioning.
• Keep the prototyping shop operational and efficient; support machine operators with technical challenges.
• Drive continuous process improvements across conventional machining and Additive Manufacturing.
• Manage machine selection, CAD/CAM integration, and data acquisition to ensure high quality and short lead times.
• Collaborate in an on-site hybrid working environment at the Antwerp site.
• Work with a cross-functional team to optimize processes and introduce innovative manufacturing solutions.
