Huxley is seeking a Project Manager for Critical Communications Infrastructure in Belgium to lead telecom and infrastructure modernization programs across partner teams and external suppliers. This role requires coordinating cross-functional groups to ensure project success and service continuity in mission-critical environments.

• PMI/PMBOK or Prince2 knowledge is a plus.

Project Manager - Critical Communications Infrastructure

Environment

The role sits within a team responsible for managing and evolving mission-critical communication networks used by emergency services, police, fire brigades, medical services, and public safety organizations in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead telecom and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Coordinate customers, internal teams, engineering teams, suppliers, and consortium partners.
• Manage project scope, planning, budget, risks, and governance.
• Coordinate field engineering activities and deployments.
• Ensure uninterrupted service during migrations and infrastructure upgrades.
• Support bid and tender activities (RFP/RFQ).
• Apply PMI / PMBOK project management methodologies.

Typical Projects

• TETRA and Tetrapol network modernization.
• 4G/5G communication infrastructure upgrades.
• Network backbone and microwave network upgrades.
• Control center and operational center migrations.
• Communication platform modernization.
• Critical power and infrastructure replacement projects.

Key Requirements

• Strong Project Management experience.
• Experience in Telecom, IT Infrastructure, Networks, Utilities, or Critical Environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating technical teams and external partners.
• Understanding of telecom and network technologies.
• Comfortable working in environments where service continuity is critical.
• PMI, PMBOK, Prince2 or equivalent methodology knowledge is a plus.
