Mercury is seeking a Project Manager (TIC) for a Mons-based role in Belgium. The candidate will fully understand client expectations, manage Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling projects, and oversee site operations, safety, quality, schedule, and costs.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, Windows/MS Office proficiency, and the ability to travel across European countries. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling.
• Good computer skills - Windows, MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel freely between European countries.

Responsabilités

• Fully understand and manage client expectations and specifications of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling on the project.
• Manage day-to-day site operations including Safety & Quality.
• Manage project schedule and all associated costs (labour, materials, plant, variations, valuations).
• Manage subcontractor activities and track progress against schedule and staffing.
• Attend site meetings with client and internal team.
• Develop and implement company procedures with the team.
• Ensure change management is handled correctly (cost & programme).
• Close out project items including Final Account, O&M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, relocations, and project plan, with project team support.
• Perform all other duties related to this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Fully Understand and Manage client expectations and specifications of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling on the Project.
• Management of all day-to-day site operations including Safety & Quality.
• Management of Project Schedule.
• Management of all costs associated with Project including:
• Labour
• Material and Procurement
• Plant and Equipment
• Variations
• Valuations
• Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels.
• Attendance at Site Meetings, with client and internal team.
• Develop and implement company procedures with the team.
• Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
• Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team.
• All other duties associated with this role.

Essential Criteria

• 3-5 years’ experience working in similar role.
• Extensive experience of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling.
• Good Computer skills - Windows, MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Essential to be able to travel freely between European countries.

Desirable Criteria

• Telecoms/ICT Industry Certification.
