Keystone Solutions is seeking a Project Leader/Project Manager for an infrastructure project on a client site in Brussels. The role involves overseeing technical and operational aspects from preparation to delivery, acting as the on-site client contact and coordinating with the main contractor, subcontractors, and technical partners.

The ideal candidate has a construction/technical background with concrete site-monitoring experience, knowledge of renovations, and the ability to read execution

Qualifications

• Minimum graduate/bachelor's degree in construction or a technical field related to construction.
• Concrete experience in monitoring and coordinating construction sites.
• Experience in renovation, transformation, or office reconfiguration is a significant asset.
• Good ability to read and understand construction and execution plans.
• Good practical knowledge of the special techniques of a building.
• Ability to engage with specialists in HVAC, electricity, fire, access control, intrusion, etc.
• Experience on the client side, with a study office, general contractor, or project/construction management company is an asset.

Mission Overview

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Project Leader/Project Manager for an infrastructure project at a client site in Brussels. This consultancy mission involves overseeing the technical and operational aspects of the project from preparation to final delivery. As the technical point of contact for the client on-site, you will coordinate with the main contractor, subcontractors, and various technical parties.

Main Responsibilities

• Site Monitoring: Oversee the progress and quality of work on-site, participate in site meetings, and coordinate various parties. Ensure compliance of work with plans, specifications, and decisions made. Identify and resolve technical or coordination issues. Monitor planning and decisions taken.
• Planning and Execution: Read and analyze construction and execution plans. Monitor plans submitted by contractors and their adjustments. Ensure proper coordination between architecture, construction, and special techniques. Follow up on 'as built' plans and documents.
• Special Techniques: Have a good practical knowledge to engage with specialists and challenge proposed solutions in areas such as HVAC, electricity, fire detection and protection, access control, intrusion and security, cabling, and technical/IT infrastructure.
• Renovation and Works: Monitor demolition works, partitioning, doors, glazing, and interior design. Follow up on the integration of techniques in new setups. Analyze changes and additional works. Monitor accounts (additional and reduced works) and their impact on the project.
• Delivery: Participate in provisional and definitive deliveries. Follow up on remarks/shortcomings and their resolution. Verify the transfer of technical documents and 'as built' plans.

Profile Required

• Minimum graduate/bachelor's degree in construction or a technical field related to construction.
• Concrete experience in monitoring and coordinating construction sites.
• Experience in renovation, transformation, or office reconfiguration is a significant asset.
• Good ability to read and understand construction and execution plans.
• Good practical knowledge of the special techniques of a building.
• Ability to engage with specialists in HVAC, electricity, fire, access control, intrusion, etc.
• Experience on the client side, with a study office, general contractor, or project/construction management company is an asset.
