Toyota Boshoku Europe N.V. is seeking an experienced interior parts engineer to plan, draw and control serial production of vehicle interior components from our Brussels-area base.

You will drive cost-reduction initiatives across plants in France, Poland and Turkey and with suppliers, order prototype parts to validate designs, and hold regular technical reviews with Toyota Motor and partners. The role offers international exposure, a hybrid schedule and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
• CatiaV5 experience preferred.
• Experience in vehicle interior design engineering.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Experience in cross-functional and international environments.
• Willingness to travel abroad (approximately 10%).

Responsabilités

• Involve in planning, drawing and serial production control of vehicle interior parts.
• Lead cost-reduction activities across Europe plants and suppliers.
• Arrange and order prototype parts to validate designs.
• Hold regular technical reviews with customers (Toyota Motor), suppliers and plants.
• Generate new cost-reduction ideas from benchmarking and new technologies.

To reinforce our foothold in Europe and Africa, we are looking for individuals who have the courage and creativity to set lofty goals and continually challenge themselves to attain them.

We currently are looking for a:

• Involve in the planning, drawing and serial production control of vehicle’s interior parts
• Cost reduction activity of serial production models with Toyota Boshoku Europe plants: (France, Poland, Turkey) as well as with suppliers across Europe.
• Responsible for preparing & ordering prototype parts to confirm design & structure proposals in actual parts condition.
• Regular technical reviews with customers (Toyota Motor), suppliers and production plants.
• Generate new cost reduction ideas based on Benchmarking from other OEM products or finding new technology by exhibitions.

Requirements:

• Having excellent communication and persuasion skill
• Good CatiaV5 operation skill is preferred
• Good skill of Office software (excel, power point, etc.)
• Experience in design engineering for vehicle’s interior is preferred.
• Experience in automotive industry is an asset.
• Experience in a cross-functional and international business environment is preferred.
• Willing to business trip abroad (10%)
