Job summary

Arcus Search is seeking a Programme Director – Strategic Technology to lead one or more enterprise technology programmes across multiple units and geographies. This Outside IR35 contract role places you at the center of our transformation agenda, driving large-scale initiatives with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of programme or project management experience.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale technology or transformation programmes.
• Experience with infrastructure transformation, cloud, platform migration, or similar initiatives.
• Programme or project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, enterprise-wide technology programmes, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and values.
• Define, structure, and deliver major initiatives, including: infrastructure and platform transformations, cloud hosting transformation programmes, platform migration, rehosting, and modernisation.
• Drive programme execution with a strong focus on scope, timelines, budget, risks, and value delivery.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Business, Technology, Finance, Risk, and Security.
• Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Establish strong governance, planning, and reporting frameworks to ensure transparency and control.
• Manage programme risks, dependencies, and financial performance.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and consensus around programme vision and outcomes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of programme management practices.

As Programme Director, you will lead one or more strategic technology programmes spanning multiple business units and geographies. You will operate at the heart of our transformation agenda, driving large-scale initiatives while fostering collaboration, transparency, and delivery excellence.This is a highly visible leadership role offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence the long-term direction of our technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities
