Arcadis in Belgium is seeking a Production Engineer to act as the primary technical contact in our production department, ensuring efficient and compliant manufacturing operations.

You will identify bottlenecks, support breakdown investigations, document root causes, and implement changes on equipment. You’ll assist start-ups, support validation activities, and collaborate with operators and supervisors. Dutch and English fluency is required, with some shift-work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering fields such as industrial, civil, or bio-engineering, or an (industrial) pharmacist degree, or equivalent experience.
• Perfect command of both Dutch and English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; structured and independent work approach.
• Experience in a GMP environment with strong technical writing ability.
• Some projects may require flexibility for shift work (early, late).

Responsabilités

• Identify bottlenecks and efficiency losses.
• Assist and coordinate technical breakdowns; document root cause investigations and implement changes to equipment within deadlines.
• Provide daily technical support for production processes, including formulation processes like vaccine production.
• Serve as a technical expert for production equipment; collaborate with operators and supervisors to resolve issues.
• Support start-up of new production lines and related validation activities.
