Capgemini Engineering is seeking an Upstream Process Engineer in Belgium to support startup and readiness of a biotechnologies manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with engineering, validation and operations teams to ensure smooth transfers into routine production.

Qualifications

• Experience in Upstream Processing, Bioprocess Engineering, or Biomanufacturing.
• Engineering degree or scientific Master's degree.
• Good understanding of cell culture processes and manufacturing operations.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
• Strong technical writing skills and experience drafting procedures or process documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders and departments.
• Fluent French and English.

Responsabilités

• Support equipment qualification and commissioning activities from a process perspective.
• Act as the technical point of contact for upstream manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, validation, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
• Write and review process documentation, SOPs, risk assessments, and GMP-related procedures.
• Ensure documentation is practical, clear, and aligned with manufacturing needs.
• Contribute to operational and GMP readiness activities.
• Support engineering runs and manufacturing campaign preparation.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition into routine operations.
