BIG WATER CONSULTING (BWC) seeks an experienced Product Owner Service in Brussels, Belgium. This is a full-time permanent role with a hybrid on-site and telework setup.

• Ensure user stories and acceptance criteria reflect customer and end-user needs.
• Drive product vision, continuous discovery, backlog ownership and release planning.
• Manage stakeholder alignment, quality assurance, adoption follow-up and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with SGS Product Line, Grid Development experts, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, IT and Data teams.

BWC is looking for an experienced Product Owner Service in Brussels, Belgium.

This is a full-time permanent position with BWC, and freelance candidates are also welcome to apply.

Job Type: Hybrid – 50% Onsite + 50% Teleworking in Belgium.

• Language: Good level of English and Dutch or French
• Education: Master’s degree or have equivalent professional experience.
• Product: SGS (Scenarios & Grid Studies Solutions) – supporting the full lifecycle of scenario and grid studies management.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner working with digital products, data solutions or decision-support platforms.
• Maximize the value delivered by one of the three SGS Product Teams within the SGS Product Line.
• Translate the product vision into a clear, prioritized and delivery-ready product backlog.
• Ensure user stories and acceptance criteria reflect customer and end-user needs.
• Support Grid Development's digital transformation ambitions.
• Act as the bridge between Grid Development experts and digital delivery teams.
• Translate business needs and long-term grid planning challenges into clear priorities and actionable product requirements.
• Drive product vision, continuous discovery, backlog ownership and release planning.
• Manage stakeholder alignment, quality assurance, adoption follow-up and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with the SGS Product Line, Grid Development experts, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, IT and Data delivery teams.
• Support the development of modular, reusable and customer-centric digital, data and decision-support solutions.
• Contribute to solutions for scenario management, grid studies, scenario and study data, grid calculations and analysis.
• Support capabilities related to system needs, planning storylines, long-term grid development portfolios and user-facing planning workspaces.
• Ensure that product priorities and requirements contribute to efficient, consistent and data-driven grid planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to strengthening Elia's capability to design the future grid and make informed long-term investment decisions.
