Job summary

Unilin Flooring is seeking a Product & Marketing Director to join the Management Team of our Sheet Vinyl Business Unit. You will own product, price, place and promotion strategy across Retail, DIY, Industry and Project channels worldwide, translating market insights into portfolio and go-to-market actions.

You will lead Product Management, Marketing and Design, drive growth, and ensure alignment between market opportunities, product development and operational capabilities while fostering

Qualifications

• Proven experience in both Product Management and Marketing.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to turn strategy into practical action.
• Digitally and AI savvy, leveraging new technologies to drive efficiency, innovation, and business performance.
• Experienced in leading teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Knowledge of retail and/or industrial markets is a strong plus.
• Experience within the flooring industry or a related sector is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French.

Job description

At Unilin Flooring, we are looking for a Product & Marketing Director to join the Management Team of our Sheet Vinyl Business Unit.

In this role, you will help define and deliver the business growth strategy. You will lead Product Management, Marketing and Design, with end-to-end ownership of Product, Price, Place and Promotion.

By translating market insights and customer needs into portfolio, innovation and go-to-market strategies, you will help shape the future direction of the business. You will ensure strong alignment between market opportunities, product development and operational capabilities, driving sustainable growth across our Retail, DIY, Industry and Project channels worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Business Leadership
  o Member of the Sheet Vinyl Management Team, contributing to the overall business strategy and performance.
  o Partner with the General Manager and Global Sales Director to define and deliver the commercial growth strategy.
  o Translate market trends, customer needs and business opportunities into clear actions and priorities.
• Product & Portfolio Leadership
  o Define the product portfolio strategy and innovation priorities.
  o Own the Product, Price, Place and Promotion strategy across all market channels.
  o Ensure market needs are translated into product development, innovation and portfolio decisions.
  o Align growth opportunities with R&D capabilities and operational realities.
• Marketing & Growth
  o Lead the marketing strategy and go-to-market plans across regions and customer segments.
  o Build strong value propositions and support growth across Retail, DIY, Industry and Project channels.
  o Drive market insight, customer understanding and competitive positioning.
  o Drive the marketing team's adoption of digital tools and AI capabilities to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and business impact.
• People Leadership
  o Lead and support the Lead Product Manager and Marketing Manager, and provide direction to the Design Manager.
  o Build strong collaboration across Sales, R&D, Operations and Design.
  o Inspire teams to turn strategy into results.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in both Product Management and Marketing.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to turn strategy into practical action.
• Digitally and AI savvy, leveraging new technologies to drive efficiency, innovation, and business performance.
• Experienced in leading teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Knowledge of retail and/or industrial markets is a strong plus.
• Experience within the flooring industry or a related sector is an advantage.
